Industrial 3D Printing Service for Plastics and Metals

3Faktur manufactures technical parts using industrial 3D printing – from individual prototypes to recurring series production. Depending on the application, we offer Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) for metals.

Standardized projects can be quoted and ordered directly through our Instant Quote. For larger production runs, special materials, complex post-processing or specific quality requirements, we review your project individually.

Our 3D Printing Technologies

PLASTICS

Multi Jet Fusion (MJF)

For high-quality functional parts and additive series production.

MJF combines high repeatability, homogeneous surfaces and near-isotropic mechanical properties with a high degree of geometric freedom. Available materials include PA 12, PA 11 and TPU.

FDM

For fast and cost-effective prototypes.

FDM is particularly suitable for concept and functional prototypes as well as parts with simple to moderately complex geometries. ABS, ASA, PLA and PETG are available in the Instant Quote.

METAL

LPBF – Metal 3D Printing

For complex, high-load metal parts.

LPBF enables additive manufacturing of demanding metal parts in materials such as aluminum AlSi10Mg and stainless steel 1.4404. Additional materials and complex downstream processes are available on request.

From Prototype to Series Production

3D printing is suitable both for individual functional prototypes and for tool-free production of recurring series. We use each technology according to its strengths: FDM primarily for fast and cost-effective prototypes, MJF for high-quality plastic parts and series production, and LPBF for demanding metal parts.

For series projects, the focus extends beyond part price to reproducible production conditions, consistent material and part properties, and defined post-processing and quality processes.

Quality, Post-Processing and Documentation

In addition to additive manufacturing, we offer a wide range of post-processing and quality services. These include vapor smoothing, dyeing, thread cutting and threaded inserts as well as – depending on the manufacturing process – additional surface finishing and machining operations.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our 3D Printing Service

Which 3D printing technologies does 3Faktur offer?

We manufacture plastic parts using Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) and FDM, and metal parts using Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). The most suitable technology depends primarily on the application, material, geometry, quantity and quality requirements.

Can I get an instant online quote for my 3D printing project?

Yes. For many standard configurations, you can upload your 3D files directly, select the material and options, and instantly calculate the price and estimated shipping date. Projects outside the online configuration are handled through our custom quote process.

Does 3Faktur also manufacture 3D-printed series?

Yes. In addition to prototypes, we use MJF in particular for recurring small-batch and series production. For larger quantities or specific series requirements, we recommend a custom quote so that production, post-processing and quality assurance can be tailored to the project.

When should I request a custom quote?

A custom quote is particularly useful for high quantities, special materials, complex post-processing, specific documentation requirements or projects that cannot be fully configured using the online calculator.

Which file formats can I upload for an Instant Quote?

For the online quote, you can upload 3D models in formats including STL and STEP. The available materials, manufacturing technologies and options are then displayed directly in the calculator.
